Five artists approach this universe from different languages and sensibilities, building a dialogue that transcends the representation of the landscape to delve into that which remains: the deep bond between the human being and their territory.

In Roots of the Orinoco, each work is an interpretation of the multiple layers that make up the Orinoquía. The fauna, flora, rivers, traditions, trades, and stories that inhabit this region appear as symbols of a living identity, in constant transformation. Far from offering a single perspective, the exhibition brings together viewpoints that complement and challenge one another, showing that a territory can also be narrated from the diversity of those who observe and feel it.

The gathered pieces invite us to recognize roots not as an anchor to the past, but as a force that continues to shape the present. In them, memory becomes an act of creation and art a space to preserve, reinterpret, and share that which makes the Orinoco a place of natural, cultural, and human richness.
